Description: This half-day event aims to disseminate research that explores the potential of using citizens’ digital traces to offer new insights to address urban challenges, such as collective action, disaster response, public transportation, and safety. While highlighting the strengths of these techniques and the opportunities they open up, we will also raise awareness about the pervasive inequality in digital traces and its implications for these kinds of methods.
